With the birth of my second son, everything I thought I knew about children’s sleep was tested. He was an alert baby that was not interested in sleeping, but was more interested in the world around him. I didn't know what to do- I was exhausted, frustrated, anxious about his sleep and depressed. I was given “GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT: The Sleep Lady’s Gentle Guide to Helping Your Child Go to Sleep, Stay Asleep and Wake Up Happy” by Kim West a.k.a “The Sleep Lady” as a gift. Her gentle guilt-free solutions worked and I was hooked! I realized after helping both my boys learn to sleep, that I enjoyed helping other people’s babies sleep, as well. I decided to become a Gentle Sleep Coach because I believe that every child has the ability to learn the skill of putting themselves to sleep.
I graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Health, Fitness and Recreation Resources. I then went on to attend Bellarmine University to get my BSN and became a registered nurse. My medical background coupled with my passion for gentle sleep coaching is an ideal pairing.
I am currently traveling the globe and living in Muscat, Oman. My husband’s job has taken us on a journey to meet new people and experience new places. The beauty of the internet is that I am able to help people all over the world. No matter where you are living, we can work together to get your family sleeping again!
